ORAN PARK SCHOOL APPROVED
THE NSW Department of Education has approval for the construction of the Oran Park High School for up to 2000 students and the expansion of the Oran Park Primary School for up to 1000 students.

STAGE ONE OF VILLAGE APPROVED
STAGE one of the Panthers urban village on Mulgoa Road and Retreat Drive has been approved, including construction of two four-storey apartment buildings and one part-five-storey and part-seven storey apartment building providing 152 apartments and basement parking, at the estimated cost of $50M.

$5M UPGRADE TO CAMDEN INN
THE Camden Inn is being refurbished at a cost of $3.5M over a period of 12-18 months. The inn was originally the Camden Vale Milk Bar built in 1939 by the Macarthur family. The venue was granted a tavern licence in 1989

STATE BUYS FERNHILL MANSION
THE NSW government has bought one of the state’s most historic mansions, the Fernhill Estate, at Mulgoa, on the outskirts of Sydney for $27.25 million. South African businessman Simon Tripp and his wife Brenda purchased the property in late 2012 at more than $50 million.

BIG BRANDS SIGN UP FOR ESTATE
TOYOTA, Sigma Pharmaceuticals, Costco, Iron Mountain and Nolan’s Transport have committed to Oakdale South Industrial Estate, in Kemps Creek. The 300-hectare estate comprises central, west and south precincts.

MORE THAN 240 JOBS CREATED
MORE than 240 jobs will be created from new tenancies at the First Estate development within the Erskine Park industrial precinct, including national stationery distributor DATS, fresh produce supplier N&A Group and Fire and Rescue NSW.
