Since it began, WatervieW in Bicentennial Park’s Melbourne Cup Party has grown in popularity with businesses wishing to entertain clients or reward staff with a fabulous day out
Far more than a lunchtime celebration, this Special Olympics fundraiser provides a three course lunch (including alcohol and soft drinks), sweeps and race day bets plus an After Race Party with live band, happy hour drinks and light meals available. There will even be taxis on call to ensure everyone has a safe trip home.
While waiting for the Melbourne Cup to be run, there is plenty of entertainment including performances by Todd McKenny, the Special Olympics Dancers and lots of colour and excitement with GY Dancers and Myer combining to provide a fashion parade with a difference. Well-known sports presenter, Stephanie Brantz will be overseeing the day.
Last year around 500 business people and friends enjoyed the Melbourne Cup Festivities at WatervieW in Bicentennial Park while helping to raise money for Special Olympics Australia.
This year is promising to be even better thanks to the ongoing support and sponsorship of Bankwest.
Tickets are $130 per person or $1,250 for a table of 10. Melbourne Cup will be run on Tuesday November 6. WatervieW in Bicentennial Park’s magical celebrations start at 12noon.
