Wanderers kick a goal with business

THE Sydney Hills Business Chamber’s theme of ‘business and community’ got off to a flying start with a breakfast event at the Mean Fiddler Hotel hosted by Western Sydney’s new football club, the Wanderers.

Members and guests were welcomed by business relationships co-ordinator, Amanda Rose, General Manager - Commercial, Chris Highett, General Manager - Football, John Tsatsimas and Head Coach, Tony Popovic.

The event included an in-depth Q & A session with Chris and Tony which provided an excellent message around culture and building a team on a mission. Tony was congratulated for creating, building and launching an A-League football team in just 190 days.

The Sydney Hills Business Chamber also conducted their Annual General Meeting and elected a new board for 2012/13.  Returning Chairman, Tony Eades said it is an honour to serve once again as Chairman and he looked forward to implementing some exciting changes ahead.

Joining Tony on the board are Vice Chair Anthony Moss, Treasurer Lielette Calleja, Acting Secretary Chris Westacott and members, Stephen Waite, Bill Elmer and Kym Heffernan.

The Sydney Hills Business Chamber runs regular business events and guests are always welcome. For more details on the Chamber and upcoming events  visit www.sydneyhillsbusiness.com.au
