Former Wiggles chief to lead Hills event

MIKE CONWAY, former managing director of the Wiggles will be the star guest panellist at the Playing2Win event at the Hills Shire Council in October.

Now in its third year, Playing2Win is one of the region’s most well-attended business events and is supported by the Hills Shire Council.

The event features business professionals who offer best practice business advice to attendees in a question and answer panel format.

This year’s event also features Dr Jim Taggart OAM founder of the Hills based Taggart Group and Stephanie Dale, managing partner of Hills based DMC Advertising Group, President of the Parramatta Chamber of Commerce.

Mr Conway recently established a new company called Pragmata. The new business revitalises individuals, teams and organisations. It was a logical progression of his major team building and collaboration program and TV series - XVenture Challenge.

He has held business development and consulting roles with Standards Australia, Ernst & Young in Europe and Australasia and Deloitte Touche in Australia.

Ms Dale is passionate about helping businesses succeed and in particular offers advice for business women to work with business men and the importance of understanding each other.

Her advice includes there are no dead-ends only intersections, believe in yourself and celebrate your successes. Dr Taggart OAM is the Founder of the Taggart Group, a Sydney Hills financial services business.

Austbrokers has recently bought The Taggart Group which has around 6,000 clients and writes general and life insurance as well as providing financial planning services.
