2014 WSABE BREAKING ALL RECORDS

By Alan Cadman
Chairman 2014 WSABE

A THREEFOLD increase in the number of entrants for the annual Western Sydney awards is a strong indication that business leadership in the West is strong and determined to succeed.

Entry to the awards closed on Friday, June 26 and are in the process of being judged.

Things may not be easy for businesses at the moment but if the number of entrants for the Western Sydney Awards for Business Excellence (WSABE) is any indication there is plenty of fight, enthusiasm and determination in Western Sydney.

All economic indicators demonstrate that Western Sydney businesses are leading in productivity and effort.

These are marvellous indications of the prospects for employment and the future for young people growing up in Western Sydney.

At a time like this when three times the number of businesses have nominated for the awards it indicates a confidence in the future for Western Sydney.

Judging will take place over two weeks after which the finalists will be announced and presentations will be made at a Gala celebration evening to be held at Rosehill Gardens on August 23 when the top business for Western Sydney will be announced before a crowd of 600 comprising families, employees, friends and supporters.

Of all places in Australia to operate a business it seemed that none could compare with Western Sydney and the continuing focus on business excellence.
